The cleanest grains in every aspect

  • Obtaining only the highest quality grains from each batch of rice is possible thanks to Cloud color cameras with the highest resolutions used in the industry and the use of RGBW matrices – with an additional white pixels. The image from these cameras is analyzed by the EagleEye software, which, by controlling the ejection zone nozzles based on the camera image, is able to remove up to 6 different categories of defects based on their color, shape, size, and texture in a single cleaning process.
  • Variable backgrounds and efficient and energy-saving LED strips support the operation of color cameras, ensuring ideal contrasts and even greater detection precision.
  • Material defect recognition is currently carried out using artificial intelligence – the device analyzes each rice grain as a separate object rather than just looking for pixels of a specific color.
  • The optimal implementation of these tasks is ensured by a signal-transmission-efficient set of integrated circuits designed specifically for image processing purposes, thereby perfectly combining the work of cameras with a computer calculating precise compressed air shots.
  • Thanks to all this, defects such as mold, yellowed rice, purple discoloration, damaged grains, husks, and inorganic impurities can be easily separated from high-quality rice.

The largest production scale and repeatable efficiency

  • Due to high production demands, rice sorters have always been available with up to twelve chutes, which, thanks to an efficient material feeding system on each of them, makes these rice machines the highest throughput devices in the world.
  • Excellent cooperation of vibrating feeders and ejector nozzles, along with the optimal spatial arrangement of sorter systems and additional material flow control systems, makes our devices stand out with excellent efficiency and repeatable quality.
  • No interference with camera operation by dust and dirt is achieved thanks to automatically functioning brushes and wipers and a device design tuned for the efficient operation of the aspiration system.
  • Filter sets mounted on the devices provide additional protection for pneumatic valves for an extended period against the influence of moisture or oil contaminants in connected compressed air system.

Increased yield and minimal losses

The ejection zone in SmartSort sorters is equipped with solenoid valves with the highest intervention frequency, ensuring cleaning by means of extremely precise super-fast shots of compressed air, which take only the minimum of good grains flying closest along with the defect.

The flexibility of configuring individual chutes in SmartSort devices gives the possibility of conducting re-sorting, or multi-stage sorting, when the assortment requires it due to a high level of initial contamination.

A well-thought-out device layout, efficient feeding system, and auxiliary elements for controlling material flow ensure optimal and repeatable efficiency regardless of the difficulties characteristic of a given assortment.
