GDPR

We inform you that since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) has been in force. As part of adjusting our activities to the requirements specified in the GDPR, as well as to provide information on how your data is processed, we provide the necessary data in this regard below.
The administrator of your personal data is SmartSort Company Sp z o. o. Sp. k. with its registered office in Poznań, address: ul. 28 Czerwca 1956 r. 406, 61-441 Poznań, NIP: 783-177-74-04, REGON: 380029779 (the “Company”).

1. Purposes of personal data processing and the legal basis for processing:

1.1 We process your data for the following purposes:

1) establishing or maintaining business relations between you and the Company,

2) conducting direct marketing of the Company’s products and services,

3) sending commercial information within the meaning of the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means, provided that you have consented to receive it,

4) storing data to ensure accountability (including demonstrating our compliance with legal obligations),

5) establishing, protecting, and pursuing potential claims,

6) storing data for archival purposes.

1.2 The legal basis for processing your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 (a), Art. 6 para. 1 (b), Art. 6 para. 1 (c) or Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the General Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of personal data (“GDPR”).

The legitimate interest pursued by the Company is the establishment or maintenance of business relations and direct marketing of the Company’s products and services.

If you consent to processing, you can withdraw it at any time.

2. Information about the recipients of your personal data:

If necessary, we will transfer your personal data in order to perform our services. We will transfer data to such categories of entities as:

  • persons authorized by us, our employees and associates who must have access to data to perform their duties,
  • processing entities to whom we entrust this task, e.g., companies dealing with the service of our ICT systems or providing us with ICT tools,
  • companies providing consulting services to us, public entities, if this results from an obligation imposed by law.

3. Where did we get your data from?

The personal data we process was obtained directly from you or the entity you represent.

4. Period of storage of your personal data:

Your personal data will be processed by us until you withdraw your consent (in the case where the basis for processing is your consent), raise a possible objection (in the case where the basis for processing is our legitimate interest), or until the contract is performed (in the case where the basis for processing is a concluded contract).

5. Your rights:

1) you have the right to request access to your data, its rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, as well as the transfer of your personal data. To remove personal data from the Administrator’s database, you can send feedback to the address biuro@smart-sort.pl with the content “please delete my data”. The above rights can also be exercised by submitting a written statement using the Administrator’s contact details indicated in the introduction,

2) you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (from May 25, 2018, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR,

3) where you have consented to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time,

4) at any time you have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

6. Voluntariness of providing personal data:

Providing your personal data is voluntary, however, failure to provide it will prevent us from providing services to you, including the implementation of the concluded contract and carrying out the payment and shipping process.
