SmartSort offers solutions exceptionally well-suited for tasks related to sorting and cleaning groats and removing contaminants occurring in this type of assortments.

Individual approach

The highest resolution, full-color Cloud cameras ensure the highest quality of cleaning of all types of groats, without any compromise on quality and leaving no foreign seeds in the finished assortment. Even in the basic version, the sorter allows you to define up to 6 different categories of contaminants to be removed.

Near-infrared technology

  • EagleEye Bionic 4.0 AI software allows you to remove contaminants such as wild millet, as well as various organic or inorganic foreign bodies that entered the assortment at the harvest stage without additional cameras outside the visible light spectrum.
  • The adjusted nozzle size allows for work with both fine millet groats and larger assortments of buckwheat and pearl barley, and the device’s virtually unlimited program saving capabilities allow for easy tuning of SmartSort devices between different types and batches of products.

Small and large-scale production

  • SmartSort optical sorters are available in any configurations from 1 to 12 chutes with the possibility of individual sorting parameter adjustment, which makes them the most flexible devices on the market that can be adapted to both small enterprises and mass-scale production.
  • High-frequency solenoid valves and a unique material feeding system ensure that even the smallest device achieves high performance, and the largest twelve-chute models offer the highest throughput available on the market.

Reliable efficiency and fault prevention

Automatic brushes and wipers, and intelligently placed aspiration connections ensure stable high-quality operation of sorters, thanks to good visibility for cameras even with high dust contamination of the assortment.

The discharge zone solenoid valves are additionally protected by filters against moisture and oil contamination, increasing reliability even in difficult conditions.

Low operating and maintenance costs

  • Optimized demand for compressed air and low demand for electricity (sorters powered by the low-voltage network) means that the operating costs of the device are minimal, thus effectively increasing the benefits of cleaning.
  • Individual wear parts require replacement no earlier than after six months of use of the machines when used correctly.
